what does this stand for?

what does rpv mean cause my friend has to get an rpv shot and yes she is a girl she also had to get a girl check up and what is it for

maybe you mean HPV shot? The HPV vacciene is sort of new. it stands for the human papillomavirus vaccine. Basically it decreses the chances of sexually transmitted deseases, when or for when you become sexually active.

Did she mean HPV? There is a new vaccine out to help prevent Cervical cancer, recommended for girls age 9-16.

I've been in the medical field for quiet some time and I've never heard of a RPV shot. Is it maybe RPR?
