who deserves the all star spot?
i personally would say amare because he has a better work ethic and perhaps the most explosive inside scorer (38 ppg in the playoffs vs that incredible san antonio defense)

Amare deserves it and will most likely get it since yao again put his summer team over the team that actually pays him and got hurt again
It is pretty funny that an 87 year old Mutombo can still outrebound Yao in that line up, and the rockets have been better without yao
which isn't surprising as yao ming is not and never will be a top option on a contending team. He's still second fiddle.
Puts a slight dent in the damage all of yao mings undeserved starts have done.

reasons why you should pick amare
1. Yao went with his summer team. Kind of unloyal.
2. Yao got hurt again. torn ACL, correct? Dikembe with Rafer Alston, etc... are doing fine without him!! He's not a big difference maker For Example... Wade. The Heat went 1-5 without him, but went 3-5 when he came back!! The Rockets have been managing fine. they're 3rd in the Southwest Divison, which is pretty impressive battling against the Spurs and the Mavs, who hold 1st and 2nd place in the Divison

Amare Studomire should be a starter because he's been steady this season and has been playing awesome balanced game with Suns.
I presonally like both of the players.. but this season, Amare deserves to start.... but What Yao did before he got injured was not that bad...
But Amare's adjusted game into Suns this season is incredible with high FG% and rebounding still collaborating well with the matrix, nashty and belly... and of course mr. frenchy everything diaw...

Yao of course! Whos Amare? You can't go wrong with a 10 footer, you know what I mean? What can Amare do that Yao can't? Just imaging them both at a one on one. Who do you think would win? Well, thats who should go to the all-star. Hope that helped :-)

yao i think. amare is great too but he plays with nash. i wanna see how amare plays without nash getting him all those dunks and layups. put yao with nash and yaos numbers will be even better. yao this year before he got hurt was a beast and was easily the best center in the nba.
