which hurts more: being dumped by a man or woman?

I am a man and I feel that it is worse when another man does the dumping. The traditional male/female relationship is largely based on emotions. For me, a bisexual male, emotions may be involved but there are other things there including ones sense of masculinity (validated sexually by another male) that are also at stake. Acceptance by another male in a male bisexual relationship is very important, and once that is lost, a whole host of insecurities come up that are not found in a male/female relationship and perhaps too not found in a traditional male/male relationship between two gay men.

I think if you love some one, or care about them enough to have a committed relationship, than being dumped would hurt whether your bisexual, gay, a lesbian, or straight. It depends on the status of your relationship with that person, not the sex of the person. =)

i believe they both hurt equally some in the same ways some in other ways. depends on you relationship with the person ans how involved and connected you were with them

the more you love the person, and the more secure you thought the relationship was, the more it will hurt.. the gender of the person doesn't really matter..
