Did you know...they arent?
The first Burger King was opened in Miami in 1954 by James McLamore. It sold burgers and shakes for 18 cents. In 1957 the whopper appeared and sold for 37 cents. In 1961 they acquired national and international franchising rights. Also, 92% of the Burger Kings are independently owned franchisees.
Dr. Pepper is marketed in North America. Their headquarters are in Plano Texas. December 1, 1885 was, according to the patent, the first time Dr. Pepper was served. Most non US territories are controlled by Coca Cola.
In Oct. 1929, Charles Leiper Grigg invented what he called Bib-label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda, now known as 7UP. He also formed the Howdy Corporation. Also American.
Sorry!!

No, but I do know Coca -Cola is an American (USA) company, and I thought Dr. Pepper was a Pepsi product (?)

Um.. no. They're not British! 100% American!

I looked on wikipedia.org and it says nothing about Britain. They all originated in America! Sorry, looks like you Brits were wrong yet again!
