Easy Off Bam is the best stuff for shower doors... spray on and let sit for about 1 min and use a scuffy pad or brush to clean.

I'd bet you have not tried Comet Spray Bathroom Cleaner.....

If the problem is really extreme you can spray Comet on it and let it sit for a half hour or so. You can usually wipe whatever was on there off with a paper towel, but if it is too stubborn you may have to spray the area every day after the last shower for a couple of days. At any time during those days you can try wiping off what you can, but after a few days of spraying the stuff will disappear on its own if you don't wipe to speed up the process.

That is why I got rid of my glass doors.

I used kaboom and all the different brands and found I was scrubbing till my arms hurt anyway!

I would take them off the track and right outside (due to fumes from the cleaners) I would use a bucket of hot water bleach and comet and a scrub brush!

Too much work take them down and get a really nice shower curtain and liner for inside the tub................much easier and cleaner all the time!

All of the above works great, but try this too. Go the auto parts store get get some Rain-x. It's stuff you put on your windshield and water just beads up and blows right off. Put some of this on your doors and the water will roll right off, thus leaving no soap scum.

I prefer Greased Lightning to clean them with, then the Rain-x.

The best soap scum remover I have ever used is: The Works! You can buy it at any Dollar Tree. The next in line is Kaboom! which is more expensive but no more effective. I was shocked that something so inexpensive works so well.

Make sure you get the white bottle with the green flip top!

Happy homemaking! :-)

Kaboom works well. I live in military housing so our fixtures are older and who knows what was cleaned before I was here. It took all the old soap scum and hard water deposits off like magic. Hope this helps you out.

Depending on how long it has built up...and if the inner side of the door is smooth (not frosted or ripply) then I have at times even had to resort to taking a razor window scraper and scraping the waxy soapy fat build up off the glass...it had been nearly cooked on with the non scrubbing by previous tenants..THAT is 100% wonderful when the flakes sometimes come off in strips!
Hope one of us is helpful, you sure have had a lot of different suggestions!

Kaboom ultra works great . Then get a daily shower cleaner spray to keep up with it .

"The Works" Tub and Shower cleaner. In a green and white spray bottle...

My husband's soap sticks something TERRIBLE and it gets my shower clean whenever I use it.

A product called Greased Lightening. I have used it for some time now. However, I would suggest using rubber gloves just to make sure it doesn't dry your hands. Make sure to rinse well after cleaning.
