I am in the process of writing a love song for my boyfriend for valentines day (piano and voice). Any tips on how to write good lyrics to it? (my main problem. They always come out too corney and specific)
-I would also appreciate good websites on this topic as well if you know of any. Thanks for the help!!

1) listen to your heart when you think about him
2) spend time thinking about what inspired you to want to write the song
3) listen to other love songs that you like and decide what characteristics of that song you like, try to incorporate them into your ideas
4) be yourself and don't force lyrics that are not representative of your persona
