Wow, for once it actually is true. I'm asking for a friend *laughs*

She says she has a thick white vaginal discharge that's not chunky or clumpy, with a strong, sort of sweet odor. No itching, nothing like that. She says she's clean of STD's as well. Any ideas as to what this could be? I'm stumped.

Hello,

I would like to answer by suggesting a few things. First, increase your water intake. Secondly, make an appointment with your physician(OB/GYN) preferrably. Finally, follow-up with the regimen suggested by the physician.

Do so and you will be just fine.

After all this, you can rest assured, that all women have discharge at one point or another. Most is normal. Some are simply from yeast infections or the like. So even if there is something "wrong" it is completely normal and nothing to worry about.

God Bless,
Dr. D.

she could be ovulating, or maybe it's just nothing, if it lasts for a long time she could see a doctor, but it could be just a one time thing, nothing to worry, it's perfectly normal to get different discharge for some days

She does need to see a doctor.

Probably just normal discharge. Most women have it and it usually becomes thicker closer to the start of her period.
