This might sound like a very stupid question.....

But My hips and butt area have been hurting so bad... is it just the baby or is my pelvis opening up? I got out of bed last night and I could not walk :( I'm 32 weeks and 2 days.

thank you

Your joints and everything are loosening up to prepare for the delivery of the baby, you may notice your knees hurting too.

Pregnancy and delivery cause unique physical changes; pay special attention to these areas when you first begin exercising:

Joints and Connective tissue: During pregnancy, the body’s connective tissues and joints soften and stretch. This will affect your balance and coordination and make you more susceptible to injury, especially during the first two to eight weeks postpartum. Initially, avoid deep flexing or extending of the joints, as this can cause serious damage to ligaments and tendons.

Your pelvis is widening to prepare for the birth of your baby. It will go back to it's normal position after delivery in a few months

This is not a common but in many cases it does happen. Good luck. Just grin and bear it.
