I am a Democrat, but I don't think Hillary has enough direct experience, and neither does Obama (though I like him). Why do we "need" to have a woman? Isn't it good enough to know that a woman (the right woman) could make it now? I would vote for the right woman - not Hillary.

Agree that one should not vote for Hillary for being a woman.

Several reasons to consider her:
1) she is pretty accomplished lawyer in her own right.
2) she has intimate knowledge of the problems of the presidency since she did actually advice Clinton on a number of matter rather than playing "trophy wife".
3) she's highly respected.
4) she's pragmatic. She votes with her brain rather than simply trying to look where she can get the most votes in the short term. Her position on Iraq for example.
5) She's highly intelligent and respected on the international stage.

Naturally as an American,. you got to consider what the other candidates have to offer but she is certainly not a bad choice. She is a serious candidate, not an off beat person like say Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson.

Obame also appears to have some interesting qualities.

I'm sure many other candidates do as well.

Bush's speech is almost on so no time to elaborate but suffice it to say, Hillary has more experience than most congressional members ever dreamed of.
