The same message they got when:
- We did nothing when our embassy in Iran was assaulted
- We pulled out of Lebanon after the Marine barracks were bombed
- We cut & ran from Somalia after the "Black Hawk Down" operation
- We did nothing after the 1st WTC bombing
- We did nothing after Iraq attempted to assasinate George HW Bush
- We did nothing after the bombing of the Khobar Towers
- We did nothing after the bombing of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania
- We did nothing after the bombing of the USS Cole
Which all led up to 9/11.
All this running away and failure to retaliate has shown the jihadists that we are weak and cowardly and have no will to fight back against them. Here we have a chance to change that, but the Dems and the people have heeded the counsel of failure.
The sad thing is that they fail to see that they have just as much at stake here, that they are in the same boat as the rest of us. They cannot tell us that "our end of the boat is sinking" as if it doesn't affect them. This blindness, this willful ignorance is disturbing. It's like a replay of the 1930's, as the appeasers were willing to give away anything and throw anybody under the bus to secure "peace".

see that mentality wll only get one tyoe of responce ,
where did you hear in any media source that anyone ever suggested cut and run.
remmember the war on terrorist is not the war in Iraq.
the war in Iraq has got to be setttled by the Iraqi's and after they decide that they want a democracy then we can step in and help guide them to a strong start .
so we need to tactically retreat to the boarders of Iraq protect ourselfs against the terrorist that come after us and let the Iraqi's kill one another until there tired of the death tole or wipe each other out.
there has never been a sucessful democracy in history who start was forced onto the people it has always been chosen from with in and fought for by the people of the country transforming into the demacracy that is what make it strong ,niot the will of an occuping force because we say it will be better for them.
besides by tactically retreating we draw out the terrorists and can kill them easier were they cannot hide among the masses while hiding between I.E.D. placements.
so if you really do not understand a thing don't coment on it like you are the one who knows what is right for everyone else.
the message is clear we will go here we will be in the open we will be waiting and if the terrorist are not the cowards I know they are and if they are so fearless about dieing then they will come if their cause is truely just and right and will be seen by all those who support them.
no sir they would be shown for the cowards they are and will loose all their support and then the war will be close to over.

initially, we were no longer at conflict on Sept. 10th, 2001. The "terrorists" hate us besides, inspite of the position we are. Secondly, the Taliban attacked us, depending in Afghanistan, no longer all of us from Iraq. 0.33, on the grounds that at the same time as is ending a 5-3 hundred and sixty 5 days engagement with very almost 5000 individuals lifeless (more advantageous than the imaginative conflict) and an predicted 50,000 Iraqi casualties, a "decrease and run"? And now a question for you: W declared "project finished" a lengthy time period in the past. Why are we nonetheless there? What precisely is this "victory" in Iraq that McSame says is interior of our draw close? Iraq has stated they want us out. Why are we battling them on it? to quote hour of darkness Oil, it belongs to them, we gotta provide it decrease back.

Republicans with their "cut and run" rhetoric have managed to convince people that we are still at war with Iraq. We are currently policing a sectarian conflict between Sunnis and Shiites.
Gen. Michael D. Maples, the Defense Intelligence Agency director, told Congress that "attacks by terrorist groups like al Qaeda in Iraq account for only a fraction of the insurgent violence."
And even National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley's own book says Al Qaeda makes up the "smallest enemy group."
We can't cut and run from a war we are no longer fighting. We deposed Saddam, dismantled his army, shown he has no WMD's, and a democratic government has been elected. We have won. What other qualifications must there be to prove our war with Iraq is over?
Iraqis have to fight this current civil war. We cannot pick a side, between Sunni and Shiite or Iraq's neighbors will definitely have a say, and it won't be pretty.

Well, first we'd have to change our National Anthem to: "the Land of the subservient and the Home of the chicken sh*t".
The message to the terrorists would be, "Guys, punch us in the nose and we'll run like a little girl".
When the Americans hastily fled Somalia after the "Black Hawk Down" incident, Osama Bin Laden concluded that the U.S. must be a bunch of pampered, cowardly buffoons who can't take the heat.
If we cut and run, we'll be sending that message loud and clear to EVERY third-rate terrorist around the world.

They'd probably be pissed.
This war is creating great growth potential for the terrorists. They have a constant supply of recruits, a country filled with easy targets, and not to mention the great PR of having an invading army in your backyard.
Yeah cutting and running would suck for the Terrorists. Let's not hurt their business and stay the course.

What message is the Democratic party including Hilliary C. sending when she goes to Iraq - totally protected by our troops - and then comes back and says - forget the Iraq's and our troops don't belong there?
Why didn't she go - to Afganistan and Iraq - unprotected - if she says there's no danger?
GOD bless America.
I think you are remembering those with honor who gave their lives as victims of the terrorists on 9/11/2001,
and in Pearl Harbor - when we were bombed then.
GOD bless us one and all, always.

We will find out, eventually.
The only question is how many more soldiers die for a lie before it happens.
My guess is that if we pull out of the Iraqi civil war it will not make us any less safe than we are now.

Exactly what you think it would send. America would be perceived as cowards, even though I do not see much of the rest of the world helping out. Cut and run is not a strategy, it is a death wish.

I agree completely... and WE HAVE ALREADY...
Osama, WHO HIT US... still out there.. and we ran off to Iraq...
WHICH CLEARLY SENDS THE MESSAGE... you can bomb NYC and live to bomb another day... so why not? The U.S. will just go attack some country that had nothing to do with it and you will be free...
this is so painfully obvious that you can see the idea, but you can't see the fact that it's already happened?
your message has been sent and recieved... expect more bombings
