its a tough decision. If you want games i would go for dell. They can get a little expensive though. They are also easer to upgrade and many more games are available

For a Laptop both are good but both are different. First of all Dell Insperon/Latitude laptops usually runs Windows & Linux Operating System. Apple iBook Laptops usually are loaded with Tiger OS but now could be loaded with Linux & also Windows. I've tried both of these systems and they have their good points but also bad points. Look at both brands first and ask yourself which one has the closest service center to your home. Next, try them both and see which one is more comfortable for your use. Lastly, ask your friends who owns each one of them and get their feedback. I think this will help you decide. Good luck and hope I helped a little. Cheers!

MAC All the way!! I just bought me a MacBook for college. It has been a GREAT computer! I take it with me EVERYWHERE. I use it mainly for Music, videos, downlading, messenger, and internet. I installed XP on my laptop as well. Some of my school classes require programs for windows... So I was forced to install XP. I love the design of Macs! If you are a student, you get a discount. The new intel duo processors are great! Although they aren't customizable as the Dell...

If you use photo editing software or video editing I would go for the Mac but that is the biggest perk to a Mac. I have a Sony Vaio laptop and love it. I also have a Mac desktop and an emachine desktop and use them but for different things.

Dell- Crap service, will die in a month, stupid workers, cant do anything, cheap
Mac- Good service, last long, smart workers, can get expensive, they run both OS X and windows because they can. Lets see pc's do that. Oh yea Microsoft is about 6 years behind of OS X.

Dell. The Mac system is so obsolete that it's even changing over to Windows now. Talk about admitting defeat!
