I don't so much play as much as plan to learn to play – my partner is a singer/songwriter [blues/soul/country] who does a lot of live performances, so after many people approaching him he now runs guitar and harmonica classes, and is supposed to be teaching me, if I can ever get time off work to go along to one of his lessons!

I took lessons in the past however the woman teaching me refused to let me play left-handed so I left the lessons before learning anything – despite being right-handed I've always played instruments left-handed as it just feels more comfortable for me, I've known a few other left-handed players in my time too.

i play both ways. i learned because i lost my left pinky so in order to play my upright, i had to relearn left handed
