I want to keep our relationship a secret for a while???

My girlfriend and I have been together for less than a month. My friends and other people at my school are the only one who knows about our relationship and not my family at all. My family doesnt even see me because I commute with a bus when i go to my school (about 30 minutes from my house and my college is in a different state). Moreover, my family doesnt know about my friends because they never see and meet them at all (not like in high school in which we are all in the same town so my parents can see and meet them) Do you think is it ok to hide our relationship for a while and reveal it to my parents few months before I graduate college next year? My parents are not that strict to me except regarding relationships....i think they dont want me to have a girlfriend for a while until i finished college because they told me I can do whatever I want when I graduate. What do you think? any comments?

Since this relationship is only a month young, it's okay not reveal anything to your parents. You never know, the fuzz could fizzle tomorrow. If your lust starts turning into love and a couple of more months have passed, you should inform them of her as they might then get upset that you hid her for so long.

I do agree with the last comment. If you feel ashamed, it is another kind of problem but you know, make sure it is really serious to present her to your parents so you can argue easily with them.

Personal choice, but if you are at all ashamed of her then there is a problem in the relationship. If its just a surface relationship...no problem

yea i think you should.....only beacuse this relationship may or may not last.... so wau t awhile to see how far it goes
