Well... the color purple certainly doesn't open appetite, nor I would like to eat something purple, but I think that it is a big attractive to eat a weird-colored ketchup!

back in the 90's they came out with purple ketchup and my brother BEGGED my parents to buy it so they finally did. It tasted really nasty...and can you even imagine how it looks next to mac n cheese? of course he didnt like it either but he pretended he did so we wouldnt be like " i told ya so." It was so nasty, i agree with you 100%...purple ketchup it very very wrong, i mean god made it red for a reason.

Yeah it is, I remember when all that crap first came out, yuck. They had green and purple ketchup and I never bought it. Same with rainbow goldfish crackers that are like red and purple. Its just odd.
