ive changed the pixel resolutions and it did fix the problem but here and there it will auotomaticaly change back to giant icons on its own. why?

maybe your video card doesn't supprt the resolution you keep setting it to and so it won't keep it.

It might be a problem with your video driver. Download the newest driver for your video card and see if that helps.
If you don't know how, here's what to do...
Open the tower and look for the video card.
Write down the numbers and company name.
Go onto their site and download the driver.
Go into the control panel and reset the driver.
If you aren't good at computers, then it might be better to have a store or a friend do it for you. The last thing you want is to crash your system. If you ask, you will find that some of your friends might be able to help. It is much better because they can see what's happening more easily than we can.

Must be your video adapter... it doesnt support the screen resolution you wanted. Or your driver needs an update.

The only suggestion I can offer is make sure that it is not booting in safe mode and try disabling themes.

bhecuse it will chang on what u put u should make the icon bigger or smaller

RIGHT CLICK ON START then PROPERTIES then customize then SMALL ICONs
