As long as you have been for all your scans and your midwife appointments you will be fine. Everyone and every pregnancy is different and everyone carries different amounts of fluid around the baby. I'm 36weeks pregnant tomorrow with my 2nd daughter(1st daughter is 2) and within the first few months I showed what I thought was really early, now I'm having to have extra scans because the doctors are saying my baby is too small. Things tend to even themselves out during pregnancy. My 1st daughter was 6lb 6oz when born and I'm only 5ft and a size 10/12, my midwife is not worried and I am booked to have a home birth, the midwife says I'm never going to have a big baby. It's easy to say but try not to worry, if there was a problem you would have been having loads of test and people poking and prodding you.
Good luck xx

yes something so wrong.... ;> you are healthy!!! good muscle toning... maybe even a tilted uterus helping out there! you are lucky!!
we all show at different times... for all sorts of reasons... and variations.... including if this is number one... you might start showing this tiny little belly that you can only see if you look real hard with no clothes on at yourself.. and no one else knows... does not mean anything is wrong with baby... by the time I was pregnant with number six? I was showing before I knew I was pregnant... which is one reason I thought I might have been... now that sucks!! lol... I looked seven to eight months pregnant... and I was barely six weeks! anyway....
has your dr given you any indication that the baby is not growing properly? if not? just relax.. keep doing what you are, eat healthy.... and remember this question of yours.. cause in about four months you will be asking where your feet are.... ;) why can't I have my waist back? where did this belly come from? ;) smile... enjoy.. rest and relax! good luck!

I didnt really show until the end of my sixth month, and then my belly just sprung out there. It kept growing for about a month, but now, at 37 weeks, I dont look much farther along than i did a month ago. How much you show depends on where your muscles are resting, how 'deep' your uterus sits, and how fit you were before you were pregnant. Its fairly common not to show untill 6 months. Don't worry- your doctor will tell you if something is wrong, and something as obvious as your belly size is something he/she wont be likely to miss.

With my first child I didn't show till about 8 or 9 mths. I wore a size 5 at 6mths and a sz 7 at 7mths. 8 and 9 mths along I wore a size 10. And I gained 40 lbs total. It just didn't show. My baby was a healthy 7lb 13oz girl. It probably helped that I was 17yrs old and worked out before and during my pregnancy (which btw is healthy as long as its not strenuous). I have a long torso and strong stomach muscles. You probably do too. Don't worry about it. Belly size has nothing to do with the size of your baby. Just because someone is pregnant doesn't mean they have to be as big as a house. You're just probably in good shape is all. Just relax because after you have the baby you'll bounce right back in just weeks.

You are perfectly normal and so is your baby. You have no need to worry. I was at a weight of 117 when I got pregnant the first time and I was quite normal at the size of my belly. With my second one I was 113 pounds then got pregnant with my 2nd child and I was huge! My 2nd child was a girl and though I was huge with her she weighed less than her brother!
They say you carry low when you are having a boy and higher up in the womb should you be carrying a girl. I hope that I have not ruined anything but that was very true for me. My son was so low they couldn't even see his head in the ultrasounds. I had a very easy labor with him as he was in the birthing position which was why they could not see his head.
Please, do not worry about anything. Stress can cause problems so relax and enjoy your pregnancy. If you feel that your baby may not be developing normally, contact your doctor and they will check everythig over for you. Congratulations!

hi i would not worry my mom and yes i said my mom had my little sister when i was 17 so i remember everything about it and well up in till she was 6 months we saw nothing really i mean she had a little tummy but could still wear her old clothing and she had gained some weight enough for the doctor to be happy when all of a sudden no lie one morning she woke up and was there with a big beautiful baby belly i am not joking she had to cut the sides of her pants so she could wear them and go buy maternity pants that day! the Doctor said the baby just shifted i am 31 now and remember it like it was yesterday so you never know when you could just pop out so don't worry and if the Doctor is not worried then i wouldn't be either good luck!

Hi there,
For my first and second baby I did not show until I was 7 months pregnant. Suddenly after that, I just caught up with the rest.
It is because your abdominal wall is solid and has never had to stretch out.Lucky girl!! Just think that it will be a lot easier for you to put your pre-pregnancy clothes back on with a smaller bump!!!
I was able to walk out in my jeans two days after giving birth to my first two... I wished I could have done just that with my third and fourth...lol...
Has long as your pregnancy goes well and that you are both are healthy, then just enjoy it!!
Good luck!!! :o))

Nothing is wrong with you. Everybody caries a pregnancy different than the next. As long as you get prenatal care you should not worry. My sister never showed at all until six months, then she blew up like a beach ball. My neice, needless to say is a healthy six year old bright little girl. Good luck and dont worry.
