...do you just look at the pictures or do a full scan of the whole page to try to get to know the person before becoming a friend?

it's better to look to know a little about the person... my 360 is my "outlet" of what I truly feel about a certain thing... it's my way of sharing my thoughts, emo's... ;-)

Generally scan the whole 360, sometimes save it and review it later if it looks interesting. My "friends " are all interesting, especially from India, UK, Australia and even Egypt.

I look at everything I can...I've made a few bad choices over time on my friends, and it's important to me not to let folks in unless I think they're trustworthy.

I only look if they provide the link in their questions. I don't just go around clicking on everyone's nickname to see their 360.

im the same way you are. i wouldn't call that nosey. i would call it just reading what is put out there.
if they didn't want the whole world to read it they wouldn't give you a link to their page. or they would set the settings on "Friends Only" or "Just Me (Private)".
