I'm glad to see Parcells step away. To me it looks like Jerry Jones would be a hard person to work for, plus dealing with T.O.'s problems, and there's another issue!

How many other owners do YOU see on the sideline during the game trying to get the team motivated....I see none...It just irrates me when I see Jerry on the sidelines, to me that shows that he has no faith in his coach, plus you would think the players are intimated by the owner being on the sidelines.

Just my 2 cents!

Comments.

I agree with with him not having faith by being on the sideline during the game. But he has been successful before so its not him. He needs a good coach and to get rid of that loud mouth. You know who I'm talking about.

I definetly agree with you; it's the coaching, If we go 8-8 or 9-7 this year. Definitely get rid of Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett. We need a new QB Coach. This team has too much damn talent, and im tired of seeing them losing games that they could have won. You can tell that Romo, Barber, Williams, Crayton, Ratliff, Demarcus Ware, Pat Watkins, and some other guys that are trying to do everything they can to help this team, but everything is just turning out badly. this team is too talented in every position, i dont care what you say, the coaching is just terrible. The play calls are ridiculous, why would you try the same damn play on champ bailey two times , and whats crazy is that Miles Austin was open on both plays. Dont get me started on the tackling. what i want to know, what were the cowboys doing for those 6 months during the offseason. JERRY JONES TECHNICALLY MADE DECISIONS THAT LED US TO 3 SUPER BOWL WINS IN THE 90S, He's not the same as he used to be, he's all about the money now.

I agree that Jerry Jones should stay off of the sidelines and let the coach run the team from there. He has already run off a couple of good coaches ( and a couple of mediocre ones). I think he meddles too much in his coaches affairs to let them gain the respect and full attention that being coach of a team like the Cowboys requires. I wish the Cowpokes the best with a new coach and new season ahead.

At one time I think that was a problem but, I think Jones has backed off a little. Responsibility for their problems can be shared by most of the team. Romo, has great potential but when push comes to shove he is, in spite of his time, a green QB. I think next year you will see a new and improved Rome. The offensive line sucks. They are capable of playing well but are inconsistent which is the main reason Bledsoe was benched. As far as T.O. goes, if I was coach I would also bench him until his catches outnumbered his drops. If you watched you saw that the games lost as a result of his drops didn't seem to bother him very much, where's Landry when you need him. Would probably be better to cut him altogether. Then there's the defense sometimes good and then really bad. Maybe Jones has something to do with T.O., he was the one who pushed him and basically vouched for him and their understanding.
Personally, I don't care much for Jones myself. He strikes me as someone I wouldn't want standing behind me but, to play the devils advocate I don't think he is totally responsible for the Cowboys lackluster finish.

I don't blame Parcells for leaving,Jones andT.O. is an impossible situation to deal with. Jerry Jones is the second coming of Al Davis.Without Parcells Dallas will take a HUGE step back next year .
