does it hurt to get your ear peirced at the top of your ear?

if it hurts how painful is it?
what does it feel like?
and does anyone no how old you have to be to get your ear peirced at the top in florida?

you mean your cartilage?
well, it will hurt more than the soft ear lobe at the bottom. cartilage is like very soft bone
but it won't hurt THAT bad

It actually doesn't hurt too bad while it's getting pierced but it will hurt quite a bit after wards. It just feels like a sharp pain (like a bad bruise or something) in the area. Mine lasted for about 2 months and I had a friend who had pain in the area for almost 6 months. It just depends. You have to keep it clean though because they can infect easily.

Sorry I don't how it works in Florida but usually if you are under 18 you have to get a parent or guardian to come with you.

Also- I suggest going to an actually piercing shop...usually a place that does tattoos also because those are the safest and most sterile...not Claire's or those crappy places in the mall.

If you get it done with a piercing gun (at like, lets say, the mall) then you are way more likely to get an infection and get "califlower ear" (look it up if you don't know what it is) If you get it done professionally it actually hurts less than a gun (in my opinion) There is little pain in getting it done, but you'll hear it go "pop pop pop" through the layers of tissue

Um you need to be 18, and it hurts more then the bottom of your ear because your going through cartalige instead of fat. Its not all that painfull... plus its totaly cute!

nope I've done it b4, and it's just like gettin ur ear pierced at the bottom it don't hurt. it only takes a couple seconds and it's done. all I said was ouch. that's it. I didn't think there was an age u had to be 2 get ur ear pierced.
