Shortly after getting married, we were struggling to make ends meet. We had no money to celebrate Valentine's Day, but did have to go into town for some errand. I waited in the car while he ran in, and he came out with a single red rose, having spent his last dollar on it. I have never forgotten that moment. It meant more than 1,000 roses.

Last year for V day me and my girlfriend went out to a nice dinner and movie and it was all nice and stuff but when we were gone from my apartment I had planned for my aunt to go and decorate the place. She put rose pedals all lover the place, floating candles an the bathtub, little hearts everywhere, about forty candles lit throughout the apartment, some chocolate covered strawberries and even some nasty dice and stuff like that. She had no idea anything was going on and when we got home she about had a heart attack and she started crying all crazy. She said it was the best V day she ever had.

As a surprise weekend get-away my sister packed my suitcase & my husband picked me up from work on a Friday.
We went to a resort but because it was Winter is was practically deserted.
We had a wonderful time....we had an ocean-front room, we talked, made love, walked on the beach, used the hot tub, called for room-service.
Thanks for bringing back that Valentines memory.

When I was in my twenties quite a while ago, I was invited to dinner by my hot older neighbor, who was in her early forties. She was dressed to kill, played all the right music and we both had way too much wine. Need I say more?
