She'll be out before any appeal would even get heard, that is the fact that she has a desire to appeal.
I'm a little surprised that she was sentenced at all, was this her first offense? I guess depending on what all was involved. Most times though for first offenders on a petty theft charge they get slapped with a nice fine and about 40 days CS. Personally I'd rather do the 30 days and be done with it. CS sucks, you can get stuck with some real ******* that are not very nice.
If she behaves herself while locked up and doesn't rattle anyones cage, she'll be fine. Heck she might even make some new friends.. just kidding, but I'm sure she'll figure out what not to do next time.

Early release on a 30 DAY sentence is ridicules. Let it go, and try to focus on reality. Maybe if she spends time in jail, she'll figure out she doesn't like it and doesn't want to go back.

Yeah, I'd say her best bet is have good behavior. 30 isn't that bad compared to what she could be serving. 30 days is supposed to be her punishment for a crime committed. She owes it according to them, so she should do it. Guess it'll teach her not to steal next time. (Hopefully).
