If you were G. Bush what would you be saying now and say during the speech tonight?

This is a difficult question where the premise is so impossible that I can't imagine it... putting myself in Bush's shoes in order to answer this question is saying that I sent my country to war for no reason, purposely bullied the democratic party in order to alienate them and trampled all over the constitution. Also, that I would be arrogant enough to believe all of that would be acceptable by the American ppl.

First off, if I were him I would stop insulting democrats by referring to the Democratic party as the Democrat Party. That's what Rush Limbaugh does often. That is like us calling the Republican party the 'republic party' or party of republics which I have recently starting to do. If they want to fight the word game battle over this, they are going to lose. That is a VERY biased stab that, like I said before, Rush does. They do this in order to let it be known they are not willing to give the Democratic party any credit for democracy.

I'd like to add a personal point:
- You know what is griping the doo doo out of me about all this 'time for us to work together' talk?
That we, the democrats, are constantly accused of being weak pushovers and if we just say, "oh ok now that you have abused the hell out of us for 6 years, we will sit down and listen to your every word...".

You see, I have always known they are the weak ones, not us. They are weak-minded. They think like neanderthals where their weak-minds see winning as the one who can beat up the other guy the most. I see TRUE winning FOR THE COUNTRY as when both parties compromise, fairly, congenially without trying to shame or degrade the other guy. This method has Honor and Integrity.... words to a neanderthal that has no meaning.

Now to answer what he should actually talk about tonight... he should talk about getting out of Iraq; he should talk about unification (although no one will believe him) and really HE SHOULD MAKE A HISTORICAL STATEMENT THAT HE HAS FAILED THE COUNTRY AND IS IMMEDIATLY RESIGNING FROM THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!

I would say that it is time to take the war to the real enemy, Iran.

We have sat by while Ahmadinejad has had his way! We have been patiently waiting for the Iranian people to take control of their government, they have not! We have waited while Iran has made a mockery out of the UN sanctions against them, sanctions that could save them from a much more volatile threat! We have watched while Iran has planned attacks against American troops in Iraq, believing that the US will not retaliate!

It is now time for Iran to see how a patient US will now respond against Iran's very provocative acts against the US!

My Fellow Americans:
As you all know, the defeat of Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq . This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short. The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains everyone not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell-holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home. On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America .
