how come i cant see my slave drive in "my computer"?



i installed a slave drive like 2 weeks ago and i was able to use it and it showed
up in my computer but yesterday i had to do a clean install and wipe out both
partitions. for some reason i can only see my master and not my slave in my "computer" now.

i went into disk management and it shows both drives.

but the slaves one says "unallocated" while my master says Healthy..what am i suppose to do (i really dont know alot about
computers so can someone give me step by step help)--i dont know how to format either

It would appear as though your second hard drive was not reformatted properly. What you need is a boot disk (your windows XP disk if available, or a bootable floppy). If you use your windows xp disk, just follow the prompts by booting with the disk (select cd rom as first boot device in BIOS). If you use a floppy boot disk, type Fdisk and follow the prompts. Why are you doing this? Are you effective that's a separate actual disk? There could perhaps be courses or different methods working in this force which will forestall you from formatting it this way. Boot to an deploy disk or different OS disk and additionally you will format it, yet this could actually reason issues alongside with your OS.

1.Check Jumper (Except You're using SATA Drive)
2.Plug Properly (Power, Data Cable)
3.Allocate (fdisk, diskpart(xp)) it first in OS or Dos
4.Format it!
