It's funny. It seems the ones who don't really try get pregnant easy and the ones that want it so bad have hard time. I've been pregnant twice. The first time, I admit to irresponsibility and the second time, I was on the pill. The first time, I can say EXACTLY when i got pregnant. It was EXACTLY 14 days after the first day of my period... which is what i was told and read about in books that it should be. So, actually, u can conceive 7 days after the last day of ur period and my first pregnancy sign was tender breasts, like 3 days after! Really mean nausea came shortly after that, however some women never experience it. My second time, i couldn't say because i was on the pill and never thought it would happen.

IT took me over 3 years to get preg the first time.
I was in a stressful job and I was stressing over not getting pregnant and that made the waiting worse. I finally accepted that I may never get preg, I left that job for a less stressful job because I figured I was going to be there a long time. As soon as those two stresses were off me, I got pregnant within a few weeks. I never went back on birth control after #1, and #2 was born 3yrs and 2 months later. Hang in there. I know it is very hard not to be stressed about it and people tell you all the time to "calm down" and "relax", but they don't understand how hard it is when you a baby so badly. Visit your library..there are some books on how to increase your chances and how to know exactly when your body is in the right time of month for conception. Good luck and God Bless.

I got pregnant 4 times on the first try. We lost one, but have 3 healthy children now.
My first signs were I was incredibly hungry for a couple of weeks before the morning sickness kicked it, I gained weight in my abdomen almost immediately (like 5 pounds, but it all went to my gut), and I just felt REALLY hormonal.

Good Luck!

The first time I wasn't trying at all. Far from it! I didn't have any signs at all. I was 2 weeks late so I took a test. I didn't have any syptoms until I was 3 months and had a couple of weeks of morning sickness.

12 years later I'm trying for child number 2. We have been trying for 4 years. I'm going through IVF right now.

My pregnancy was a big surprise. I had been told I could never have children and then 2 weeks after my mother passed away I found out I was pregnant. My biggest symptom was uncontrollable nausea.

We tried for 11 months. My first signs were that I was really hungry, really tired, my stomach was tender and crampy, and I didn't feel that well. Then later my breasts were really sore and still are. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and still very tired. I'm also more emotional now too.

With my first child it took me about a year to get pregnant. The second child took about eight months. I knew that I was pregnant when I had sore boobs.
