It has come to my attention that Stephen R. Covey's "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" is now taught in Homeland Security's Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. It's a kind of self help method, but who knows? I think the buzzword "proactive" came from this book. It's been around for a while, I think.

Has anyone as sceptical as I am found anything of value in this book, and why?

Hahaha... I read that book in seventh grade (summer reading homework). I guess the ideals it taught were good--you just have to go through with it for them to work. The value of it isn't in that you read it, it's that you actually do it.
