what is the name of the flower that blooms only once after 70 years and only blooms for about 10-30 seconds before wilting and dying?

I think you may be thinking of the Titan Arum (Amorphophallus titanum), also known as the Corpse Flower, or the Voodoo Plant. But your facts are somewhat off. The Titan Arum is among the world largest flowers, at a whopping 8'+. It does not bloom frequently, but only after 70 years may be a bit of a stretch. (The Century Plant should be called the Decade Plant, blooming about every ten years then dying. But Decade Plant just doesn't have that "ring", does it?) The Corpse Flower does not last long either, less than a week I believe. Not long, but a bit longer than 30 seconds. Any plant only in bloom for 30 seconds would be an extinct one, because it would take longer than that to get pollinated.
