God wants us to get married before having sex. This is because in the act of sexual union, the man and the woman become one, body, soul and spirit.
God intends for sex to be enjoyed by people married to each other-sex isn't just for procreation as with the other animals.
God endorses our enjoyment of every part of our spouse's body.
God wants each person in the marriage to conscientiously fulfill his or her mates sexual needs and desires.
Both the old and new testaments speak about abstaining from sex before marriage

God created sex for reproduction purposes and the Bible says we are not to have sex until marriage. Plus look at it, back in the old days people had morals and values and most of them did wait until marriage to have kids and kids grew up with both parents in the house. Now days the divorce rate is sky high, there are hundreds of thousands of single parents struggling to raise children. The children are the ones that suffer the most.

I think God wants us to wait until we are married before we have sex.
But since you brought up children, I believe that God created male and female and chose them to bring up children within the confines of marriage because we need both a mother and a father. There are many attribute a woman can impart to a child, but the father is needed to impart different attributes.

I don't think it's so much that God wants you to be married before having kids it's a way of controlling the family unit.Children should have a father and mother(with the same name)of course being pregnant without a husband is disgraceful(according to man)and the bible but who wrote the bible?

Because he wants a stable environment for the child. He wants love and consistancy to exist before a child is brought into the world. That being said plently of people have made it work without marriage.

He doesn't. Back in ancient times when religion was the "explain all" for everything, the universalizing religions decided to have a way to officiate the bond between a man and a woman. There was strength in numbers. They laid out the rule that if you wanted to marry someone outside of your religion, that person had to convert to your religion first. That helped them grow in numbers. It isn't a rule dictated by a Deity, it is a human rule, developed to increase the numbers of a particular religion. It is much like the Catholics condemning the use of birth control. If their followers aren't using birth control, it makes more followers - plain and simple.

Read the Bible and find out.... Ask your pastor or local church as they can answer this question for you... Children need a untied front as a mom and dad in marriage for stability and a stable home life.
