A Chapstick went through our wash. It melted and left grease stains on our shirts. Anyone have any good tips on how to get them out now that the clothes have gone through the dryer?

If you can leave them soak overnight, put a bunch of Oxyclean, like 3 or 4 scoops, into the washer, in water as hot as is safe for your clothes. Let it soak as long as you can, overnight usually works, and then wash again. I have had to do this twice only on clothes that were saturated with gunk.

I believe the RIT Dye people offer a few products for serious stains like ink or blood. Look for them in the same section as dyes and laundry supplies. If this doesn't work, you might be able to dye some of your clothes a darker color to minimize the stain. Putting the inked-up clothes in the dryer probably set the stain, so don't expect miracles. A professional dry cleaner may be able to extract some of the ink, or you might have some luck with a steamer and a lot of detergent and elbow grease.

Try using a stain remover like SHOUT, but instead of washing immediately let it set for a few hrs., even overnight. Then, just wash as usual. Good luck.

tide with bleach..I used this to wash some rags and they came out beautiful. who knew. It also took grease stains out of my t-shirts that I had put into the rag drawer already for junk shirts.
Also you may want to try using lighter fluid. Rutgers Extension Service told me this one. You put it on whatever and rub it in. Then you wash the item. make sure you wash it though or it will be flammable. takes off paint, grease, glues, disintegrates bubble gum.

Pour either liquid laundry detergent or Dawn on the stain, and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then launder as usual.
