Long distance relationship can work however both of you must be willing to make it work..... if one person is doing all the work then it might not work out..... i say give it a try.... it is always better to try and fail then to never know how it would have been like.... good luck..... i have a best friend and her now hubby date long distance for 5 years before they got married.... he was in california and she was in minnesota..... good luck

my boyfriend and i live almost 200 miles apart. the thing is, we live in hawai'i....on different islands. the only way we can see eachother is if one of us flies to the other's island. we are only 15 & 16 years old, but we have been making it work for over a year. when she calls you, make sure you get her number. talk every day. i found that being in a long distance relationship is actually very helpful. you are forced to talk to the person since you can't see them, therefore you get to know them better and the relationship isn't strictly physical. also, talk to your parents about your situation. maybe they'd be willing to let you visit her when you have a break from school. my boyfriend and i do that, and we make sure we see eachother atleast one weekend a month, however we've gone 2 months without seeing eachother before. if you both are commited to this, it can work.

I dated a guy long distance who moved to England. We saw each other for a month, he moved and we dated long distance for 8 more months. Of that time we thought we loved each other, but it was terrible not having the physical. Eventually, despite everything else, we secretly cheated on each other to fulfil the physical needs.

It could work out, but it probably won't. You need the kisses, the touches, etc on a more regular basis. HOWEVER I have met couples that have successfully dated like that for years and even got married.

If you want it to work, however, you need to get her number asap.

In all honesty, I think you need to slow down. You guys need to spend some time catching up and getting to know each other again before you even try to think about a relationship- long distance or otherwise.

No, I don't think it would work. You two can only be with each a few weeks out of the year. I think you two should just be friends.
