how could you improve the seperation of the spectral lines in your spectroscope. need to improve mine for science class. Making a skinnier slit does not count.

The better answer is to get a finer grating to seperate between spectral lines which is fundamentally on a 'skinner slit' guidelines, just on the graduate level.

Improving your diffraction would help with seperation.
