I will give you four points on each for a total of eight points.
Hamlet:
1) The ghost of Hamlet's father tells Hamlet that the Ghost's brother, Claudius, murdered him.
2) Hamlet has a hard time deciding whether to believe the Ghost or not.
3) Hamlet discovers the proof he needs to prove that his uncle is guilty by staging a play but still isn't able to achieve revenge because he is indecisive.
4) Hamlet gets over his indecision and finally kills his uncle, but dies in the process.
Romeo and Juliet
1) The families of Romeo and Juliet are having a serious war with each other.
2) Romeo and Juliet meet when he crashes her family's party and they fall in love.
3) Romeo is forced by circumstance to kill Juliet's husband and is banished, leading Juliet to fake her own death so she can be spirited out of the country - but this plan does not reach Romeo who justs thinks she's dead.
4) Romeo kills himself over Juliet's body just as the poison she used to fake her death wears off so, seeing his dead body, she kills herself.
BONUS POINT - Their deaths lead to the families' of the two kids reconciling.
---
A ton of other stuff happens in both plays. You will likely not succeed without actually reading them. You might also consider searching for online summaries of the play using a site like Yahoo! or Google. Good luck!

Romeo and Juliet
-Two kids from warring families fall in love, decide to run away together. This involves a hokey plot device where Juliet must drink a potion that makes her look like she's dead.
-There is confusion...he thinks she's dead,-but wait! she's only sleeping!- so then he kills himself, then she wakes up and kills herself.
-Famous stuff: The balcony scene, the expression "star crossed llovers", "Parting is such sweet sorrow" "Wherefore art thou Romeo"
