Everytime I see one of these questions, it always pisses me off. Why do women think that getting someone to do anything is any different than getting them to do something?
IF your husband wanted you to give him more sex, do you think asking politely every time would work? How about nagging, and complaining? How about withholding your treasured emotional contact? Still no, huh?
The reason why it's hard to get men to change is because it's hard to get PEOPLE to change. Just like you don't like doing things you may see as extraneous when you feel like you've done alot, he might not either. Change can only come if the person who has to change wants it. Being more understanding, and trying to keep things less volatile COULD help, but it definitely won't hurt.
You want empathy? Try giving a little first. I hope somebody, man or woman learns something from this post.

The question should be: How can I get my husband to do the things that other husbands do?
Like both men and women have stated I do more than My share.
You should've picked a partner that believes this same way. That is what dating was for. Right? You dated him for how long before you married him and found out that he does not o all these things good or help you do what? And he is the only one with a problem? Do a little reading and find out how to give him what he wants to get what you want.

You know I could say something like him wanting me more, or more sex but no... I think the think that would mean more to me and want me to do more for him is to have him help me clean the house. If he did that for me I would be willing to do so much more for him, not nag him, and even give him more alone time. It would make all the difference in the world and I wouldn't even have to ask because this is fantasy, right? Besides, when I do ask he says he will and never does.

Pardon me, but I work 12 hours a day, and yet I still come home, help my wife with dinner, I pay the bills in the morning, get 1 load of laundry started. She also has a bad back, so I vacuum every other day, and handle all the trash, and heavy lifting chores.
We split our home responsibilities 50-50 except for the ones she cannot physically do......That is what dedication, and commitment are all about.

I always have to ask him to do stuff, but I keep getting on to him about leaving his clothes on the bedroom floor. I do it too, but I pick mine up in the morning. I think threatening no sex doesn't affect him as much as it used to, but I think hiding his car keys for the morning would be in order. Since he has to go to work every morning. And I'm up until 2 or 3 in the morning. You may say it's mean, but I'm exhausted from doing chores, watching my son everyday. I also work 3-4 days a week. I just need a break!

If only women know how to make us do things, we ( husbands ) would be slaves. Best way to make husbands or anyone do something is ask politely ( dont worry if it fails first time ) , remind again politely after some time and then remind again if he is glued to couch but dont push to do it. Politeness is best tool to get things done.

Oh hell- my husband works 12 hour days, takes care of all the bills and car, makes sure we have food, clothing and shelter, tries hard to give us a good life and treats me right. Like I have any petty reason to nag or complain?????
If I wanted him to do anything, I'd ask. I treat him with love, respect, admiration and kindness- that works.

Ask the chinese language government. and don't study the bible( the holy e book, the be conscious from God) with some chinese language novels. it extremely is the comparable as finding out to purchase a Harry Potter e book. God would not want money, yet human beings won't be able to stay with out them.
