for a smoke that you emptied all the butts and rolled your own cigarette?

I quit smoking so many years ago, can't remember how many years it's been now. But.... back then I don't think I ever got desperate. I was always able to buy my cigarettes. If I had ever been that desperate I would have quit smoking sooner.

No, but I've been so desperate that I've smoked all of what was left on the filters (butts) of the cigarettes in my ash tray. Whether they were mine or not.

I never smoked. My husband does though and one day he ran out of cigarettes before I got home with the truck and went through the ashtrays and did that.

No, however when I used to smoke, we used to go "snipe" hunting. That's cigarette butts in ashtrays, enough left to light up for one drag.

Not personally, but I did have a friend who was having this serious nicotine craving because she had been out cigs for almost a day, so her boyfriend did that for her. I would say that would taste pretty funky.
