whats the difference between UFOs & UAP?

u a p = unidentified aerial phenomina

UFO's are probably secret military hardware being tested.
UAP are electrical storms/strange lights etc
Just my educated guess.

UFO implies intelligence behind some kind of flying craft.
UAP implies natural atmospheric effects and phenomenon.
Just common sense if you read the words and work out what they mean.
