I have been delaying this mail I got from my DODMERB, I'm scared it is something that I won't be able to cure or it will be curable but I will be cut short from my dream-to be an officer in the military-help! I know it has something to do with my medical examinnation, but I get anxeity trying to open the letter-, therefore I have ignored it. Help!

Im afraid to open letters that are important also. But what ive found is that i do better if i just get it over with. I want to know immediately so i can move on. I hate that feeling of uncertainty. Be brave and open it, you wont have that sick feeling worrying about it.

I have never been afraid to open a letter; if you are ready to work in the military, you have to be bold. If it's something bad, it probably won't cut your life short or make your dream of a military officer completely unreal. Just open the letter and hope for the best! I'm 90% sure it should be fine.

The longer you ignore it means you have more time to think about which means you are going to continue to get more and more paranoid. So you really should open the letter, plus if it is something bad you don't want to delay any treatment.

It's normal, but you have to face it sooner or later. It's better to know. If you have something, it would be something that needs medication right away to cure it, and it might just get worse if you delay. Or it might be nothing, and you're just stressing yourself out for no reason. Just open it.

If you can't open it yourself, get someone you trust to open it with you. The anxiety of the thing sitting there is going to give you fits until you do.
Ignoring it will not make it go away. Trust me, I used to hope the dishes would do themselves. Never happened. ; )

yup, there was a point before xmas I didn't open any mail for three months. only looked at it a couple of weeks ago.. didn't want to see what it says
