Your healthy running time depends on your health and conditioning. A good start would be, jogging at a pace of about a 10-11 minute mile. So you would like to "jog" between 40-45 minutes. If you're feeling pretty good go for 1hour. Oh yeah, jog in a pair of good quality running shoes, and keep your jogging days at 2-3 times a week .

It's according how fast you run. But I would stick to one hour at the most. By the way running and jogging are two different things. Jogging is less stressful on the body and just as effective as running. Even fast walking is effective and you can walk further and longer.

What ever you can do is healthy.. Just keep it up and your time will improve.. I'm 53 and run 30 minutes daily on a treadmill. Usually I do about 2.7-3 miles in 30 minutes. Somewhere around 5.1 mph.. I slow it down and set it up for an incline too.
