I suggest storing them in a plastic baggie, and dont EVER let them get on anything that could attract lint, such as the floor or near fuzzy clothing.

I wash them inside out with a little fabric softener. Line dry and store in baggies

i store mine folded neatly in plastic zip lock bags and write with magic marker on them color and size
wash by hand in luke warm water and Downy rinse
squeeze water out gently and hang on a hanger to dry,
last longer Downy in the rinse seems to repel lint balls and make it not have static cling.
oh if you got static cling take a fabric softener sheet and rub on hose. DE static every time

The way that you can do that is buy a shaver for clothes and that works really well for my clothes and my moms. Or when you wash them, so they won't get tangled and stretched, you can buy a bag, w/holes that are kinda made for the wash and that works super well.

I'd store them in freezer bags, then in your drawers, that way, you can label them by color ande length as well, and you don't have to worry about them getting snagged either
