the application asked "what promoted you to apply for this job?" and i put " i REALLY need a job." is that bad? i was just being honest because i do. im losing my mind sitting at home doing nothing.

You are best to say why this particualr job was of interest to you - it is a feild you are really interested in, or a job you belive with utilise all of your skills. Don't make it sound like your only applying cause anything will do. That guy ^ is wrong

Tip: It's not 'I really need A job' it's 'I really need THIS job'

Yeah, OK it might not be honest but it's what they like to hear and that helps.
