No you band wagoning hippie, they are not the best. Suns suck, they are playoff flakes Mavs are in the top 5 but i wouldn't call them the best

While the Suns are an exciting team to watch, and they have an explosive offense, I don't believe they could beat the Mavs in a 7 game series.
While the Suns have an amazing record, they have not beaten the Mavs, Spurs, or Lakers; they have not shown they can compete with the West's elite
History shows that fast-paced, offensive minded teams get slowed down in the playoffs. Offense wins games, defense wins championships, and Dallas has an elite defense.
The Mavs are better than they were last year. They've added another legitimate scorer in Josh Howard, making their starting five comparable in talent to Phoenix's.
The bottom line is that it will be a great series, regardless. I just can't see any team beating the Mavs in a long series this year. They're solid all the way through, and under Avery Johnson, have become a complete team by playing outstanding defense.
Footnote: As much as I've jocked the Mavs in this post, I'm a die-hard Laker fan

Well you are right in that....they are amazing teams! I am a Suns fan, and last year was a heartbreaker. A few things kept them from beating the Mavs in the playoffs.....injuries & lack of bench. This year, they have managed to be pretty much major injury free (knock on wood) and they have 7 maybe 8 man rotation. They are much deeper. They also have Stoudemire back & Nash playing like a MVP AGAIN! They have a good chance. When the Suns played the Mavs early in the season, it was early in the season & they were all adjusting to their new roles, new players & what not. The Suns are a MUCH different team then they were @ the beginning of the year. And....their defense is soo much better.
Now, to answer your question....it's going to be a great series...if it happens again & then who knows what will happen. That's a few months away!

i've got self assurance that it will go 7 video games, and the Suns have certainly better. I merely experience that because of the fact of indoors/submit play, the Mavs will take it in 7 video games. they have larger adult males and are greater powerful interior the paint on offense, and in protection interior the submit. additionally, the Mavs are a greater powerful group as an entire on protection. i'll be exceptionally suprised if the Mavs do no longer return to the NBA Finals.
