I'll have to agree with you... I don't like it at all!! That, to me, goes hand in hand with having a "chip" put in your kids (supposedly to find them if they're abducted)... hits a little too close to being a biblical subject if you ask me!!!!!!!

Are you American? If so, didn't they teach you to speak and write English properly? If English is not your native language, I apologize for making this comment.

I have 2 identity cards-----my driver's license and my pass port. So, what is the difference by having another one? And, I doubt if anyone would be followed around, unless they were suspicious for some reason. Are you suspicious?

Clearly if you have nothing to hide there is no reason not to want to comply. You have pressured your neighbours Canadians to create a passport system in order to enter your country for security reasons, yet you complain that you must use one for security reasons. Canadians have complied and many of us have no issue with it, we understand why you are asking and are willing to help. This is the reason alot of people think Americans are arrogant, they expect the rest of the world to do things and comply to thier requests when they do not even do it themselves. You might want to consider that if you are demanding things from others you might want to do it yourselves and quit whining about it.
