The overwhelming majority will say bad and I say that as well you can not and I mean can not look desperate what so ever....because you would be considered a flight risk to the company and they would never hire you...also people look for loyality in their company and a desperate person just wants the pay check

I'd have to say bad since they would think that maybe you are lying about some things because you will do anything to get the job. It also looks like no one else will hire you and maybe there is a good reason for that.

I would say its kind of looks bad on you if you look desperate you need to be confident look them in the eye and tell them you are able to do the job. But don't be arrogent about it. don't fidget or things like, don't start to tell about family problems. Give them a firm and handshake, be confident! thats what they like!!
