That is a line from a song entitled Find us Faithful..

The first line was:
We're pilgrims on the journey of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way

Kindly explain me what does the second line means...Thank you!

It is telling us that the ones who achieved their goals and made a difference and that have left this world , left a legacy to follow. They line the way to whatever greatness you seek. And even though we sometimes walk a hard road to get there.....they have walked that road to and created the path to follow.

Umm is that a Christian song? I listen to Contemporary Christian is the reason I ask and based on the title and those lyrics it sounds like one.

I believe that second line is saying they're living and walking the good way of life (straight and narrow) and there are others who have died, gone on to heaven before us, and were also being faithful Christians when they were alive. They walked the narrow road that is hard to follow at times because of the opposition both on earth and from satan, but they succeeded and have found their reward.

That's what I think. I guess it would help more if we knew what type of song it was :)

Looks like the band left it open for interpretation, but i'd say it means not everybody made it before you and they are still where they left off.
