Pittsburgh is a neat city, actually. Forget the mind set of an old industrial town. Some things to do include:
1. Ride the inclines to Mt. Washington for a great view of downtown.
2. Go to the Carnegie Museum (the submarine tour is kind of unique.)
3. Pittsburgh Zoo and National Aviary along with the Aquarium.
4. Warhol Museum
5. Falling Water (Frank Lloyd Wright House...about 2 hours southeast of the city.)
6. Many ethnic restaurants (try some Russian, Polish, Irish, or other ethnic groups that settled in the city.)
7. Symphony, shows, University of Pittsburgh sports, professional sports (Penguins this time of the year.)
Lots to do...just relax and have fun.

I visited Pittsburgh last summer and loved the place. It's one of the most beautiful cities in America. Be sure to take one of the historic incline railroads to the top of the cliff to get the gorgeous view of the downtown area. The Andy Worhol museum and the Heinz History Center are both fascinating. Also be sure to catch a game at one of the stadiums (with breathtaking views) or go for a behind the scenes tour.

if you're hungry (during the day), or like clubs (at night) go to the strip. there's all kinds of markets with every food imaginable. the clubs aren't bad either.
