At 1.33 a.m. the Olympic sent a message to the Titanic asking “Are you steering southerly to meet us?” but the only reply from the Titanic was the code word for “Received”. That was the last message the operator of the Mount Temple heard from the Titanic.

In 1984, I believe in a scene from Ghostbusters they say "We finally made it". i have reason to believe that the final message made was "We finally made it" because the captain mistook the Atlantic Ocean iceberg for a New York Harbor Iceberg.

I guess it was SOS.
According to legend, that's the first time it was used as a distress signal.

Having a great vacation! Wish you were here!
No sorry - that was not funny.
I'm sure it must have been SOS - goodbye.
