Well I use to have the same problem, until my mother made me aware of it. I guess I fixed my posture problem with a secret chinese method... Sleeping on the floor without a pillow. After sleeping on the floor for about 1.5 months, my posture has gotten so much better, but still, when my posture slips my mind, I still tend to slouch, so I guess the way to keep a straight back, straight, is to be constantly aware of your postition too :D!

The fact that you are aware you do it is the first step to the solution. Stand up straight. Do some exercises that will strenghen and tone your stomach, shoulder and lower back muscles. Take care of it now or you will have spine and back pain for life. If you want it bad enough, it's entirely up to you. You are aware of the problem, now do something about it.
Picture yourself slouched over in 20 years. Is that where you want to be?

there are braces online that you can buy that will pull your shoulders back and keep you sitting up straight. I have found though the best brace are the ones you get at a hospital for a broken collar bone called a figure 8 brace. Also working out your abs is good for your posture because your abs support your back

I have the same problem. The best thing you can do is to have a pillow with you and whenever you want to sit just put it behind your back. And remember when you don;t slouch you look like a soldier, but when you do slouch you look like a snail.

Try sitting upright with shoulders back. Considers seeing a Chiropractor if your problem is overly severe.

Look at some Internet pics of people with lordosis (swayback) or kyphosis (hunchback); that'll help improve your posture.

Just keep at it and keep your muscles flexible so that they adapt to the 'new posture'.
