she wants me to fill out a sheet htat has something about secribing my idea of the perfect husband. i'm not going to do it. i'm giving her a letter that explains why. what reasons should i give her?

Say you feel that perfection can't be imagined or found, and that limiting something to perfection might actually be like betraying yourself, because you can find perfection in anyone, anywhere.

If you are going to do that try and make it an essay. You could try using references to literature and other things. Try to use higher level logic and reasoning when you write your essay. If your sheet she wants you to do is short try to impress her with a nice well research and put together cohesive essay explaining why you not going to do her assignment. You could possibly ask her to make a substation of your idea of a perfect friend instead of spouse. Ultimately though the decision is up to you.

I think if you can't figure out reasons on your own that it's not all that bad. I would just do the assignment and put down a few ideas on what you think your perfect mate would be like.

Tell her that you believe choosing a mate is a personal decision and you aren't going to share personal information. Then request an alternate assignment that won't invade your privacy.

Tell her that this subject is one that you don't have the answers to, as you are still young and haven't been through that many years of life. She should be willing to assign something that you do know about.

I don't see that as embarrassing, but just explain to her why you feel it is private. Let her know that it's your own business and you don't think she needs to know about your personal life.

Personally I wouldn't do it either beacause I feel like that type of thing should be kept between me and myself and somewhat my sister and my mom.
