I'm not really goth anymore but that sounds like a good idea. It does sound kind of boring though. You should put the glass heart in the box with red and black or whatever color tissue paper you want and then on the ouside wrap it with a ribbon and then stick a rose in there. If you put the studs [the metal things you can buy at hot topic for around $5 ... I cant remember] and then put then on the ribbon. Yeah, I probably said more than you wanted to hear but I got bored. I hope you like my idea though. :]

I would be so happy. I have never received anything for Valentines ever. If someone got me a nice gift like that then I would cry with happiness and talk about it to all my friends for ages.
I think that it is a great gift. It is pretty and thoughtful. Perhaps a CD would be good to go with it as the flower will only last so long but music can last forever and can bring back memories of the rose long after time has wilted it.

I am not a goth but...
Any gift like this which is special interest is only really cool with feeling and thought behind it. If you have made this up from scratch (got all the bits together yourself) then its a cool gift. If however you have gone into your local branch of Clintons cards and picked it out of the goth section (I dont know!) then its just a bit tacky. Like those godawful plastic silver keys you see for 21st birthdays. They are so grim.
Thanx for extra details. So to answer with this in mind, yes, I would say its wicked. You've put a lot of thought in, and its original and got the right feel for your "kinda gothy" friend. Thats a lot of effort though girl! Is he more than a friend? ;-) Good luck.

I think it would be real cool, I am not really a goth but love the style of dressing and my husband calls me gothic annie for some reason but got or not I myself would love it and appreciate the thought. I tend to think males do not usually always see the full picture and tho he may like it try to let him know how you made it yourself and the thought that went into it.

Speaking as a non-goth, I would find a crate of lager and a pair of Homer Simpson pants an ideal gift.

I love it. I would put things like nails in the bottle preferably rusty and just a little blood to accent it.

You had me, up to the fake blood. Your thoughtfulness is very impressive, though. Is there something else red that could replace the fake blood?
