Yankees because...
Cano gave up his number 22 for clemens
His best years came with the yankees
his best friend is on the yankees
he wants to win a championship before he retires
yankees will give him anything like 20 million for 1/2 yr
he wants to go into HOF as a yankee

I'm sure he probably will pitch for the Astros, so he can be near home. However, this thing with Robinson Cano is a ploy for him to take up interest with the Yankees. I'm 100% positive that he won't go to the Red Sox because the only reason he would go there is because of his past there, but he is more concerned about his future. He wants his son to do well also, and (I would hope) he gets him to come along whereever he goes so they can play together. He'll be great wherever he pitches, and it will be a fantastic last year for him.

I think Roger will pitch for the Yankees. As you noted, Cano gave up his jersey number, and His pal Andy Petite will play for the Bombers in '07. New York is also the place where Roger had the most team success.

As long as someone is willing to pay him 10millon for half a season like the Astros did, he'll play with whomever offers him the most money.

I think he will end up with the Yankees if they want him. But I think he should end his career(this time) with the Red Sox.
