i think its pre determined what orientation you are, i am bisexual with a homophoic family so i dont think its anything genetic, nor doi think its environmental for the same reason.
if you are meant to be gay, you will atleast feel the tendencies or actually admit to it

it differs from individual to individual, depending a lot on what part of the sliding scale your innate sexuality was meant to be placed on. Some people are clearly destined for the way they turn out from birth. Others can be swayed, and their place on the scale changed, by environmental factors as well as natural tendencies.
Cultural differences force a lot of people into one mold or the other, with little left in between that even they themselves can approve of.
So while everyone is born with a propensity to be what, all things being equal, they eventually turn out to be, there's no simple answer that applies to everyone as to when they are fixed for life. And some are never fixed in one path even after reaching middle or old age.

Firmly? Depends I guess if your honest with yourself now. However, I know of women that have changed from being a married women (heterosexual), to a lesbian as the marriage was bad. Then go back to men. So do you ever really know? Some do, but life can change things.

Once can choose not to act on their natural orientation, but nothing after that point can change it. Psychologists and scientists agree on this fact.

This is not known. Neither side of the homosexuality debate cares to find out either. Each is afraid finding out the real answer will weaken their argument.

im not sure about most people but the minute I saw nancy pelosi, i knew it must have been an early age for me to withstand an assault on my heterosexuality like that.
