1. You need to make sure all three computer are in the same workgroup. To do this right click on my computer from the desktop and select properties or go to control panel and select System. Select the computer name tab. This will display two important pieces of information. Your computer name and the workgroup. Make sure all three computer have the same workgroup and different computer names.
2. After you verified all three computers are in the same workgroup you need to share the printer from the desktop it is physically connected to. To do this go to Printers and Faxes. right click on the printer you want to share and select sharing. You need to select share this printer and give it a share name (keep it simple).
3. The last step is to connect to the printer share from the remote computers. There are several ways to do this but the easiest way is to use the run command box. Click on Start - Run.In the dialog box type \\remotecomputername\sharename and click ok this will install the printer on the remote computers.
For example if you had three computers named desktop1, desktop2, and laptop1. You shared the local printer on desktop1 with the name photoprinter. On your remote computers you would type \\desktop1\photoprinter in the Run box and click ok. I hope this clear and helps you out.

You have to share the printer in the network. Go to Start > Control Panel > Printers and faxes. Right click on the printer you are wanting to share and click properties. Then, click on the "share" tab and follow the wizard.
Then go to the other computers and Go to Start > Control Panel > Printers and faxes and click "add printer" then choose network computer, find the network you have, (default should be MSHOME or WORKGROUP) click on the network, (computer on the network come visible), click on the computer that has the printer installed, then the printer will show up. Click on it and follow the steps.
Remember the computer that has installed your printer will become your server for the printer. So if this computer is offline the other computers won't be able to print.

Well First you need share your printer on the desktop that you have connected it to. You can just right click and share it.
Then go to the computers that you want to print documents from. Go to start > Printers and Faxes. You can right click and add new printer or File > Add printer.
When you add a new printer, you need to choose the options that says "A Network printer or a printer connected to another machine."
Then click next, sometimes the automatic finding does not help, choose the second option that says "Connect to this Printer- ex: \\server\printer"
Note that you have to enter the Machine name or the IP address of the printer in that box followed by the Shared name of your printer. ex: if you named your PC as "MyPC" and your printer as "CanonPrinter" then you have enter as \\MyPC\CanonPrinter
Hope this helps.
